You have read, seen and understood something about the work of the Liberian Translation and Literacy Organization (LIBTRALO) and may be passionate about helping people to preserve their language and culture. How can you become a part of making this dream a reality? You may want to check out some of these categories below.
Members
Be a member today. When you become a LIBTRALO member, you will have the opportunity to participate in all of its activities including annual walk, workshops, and national conference where you can interact with the Board, Staff and Language Associations. If you do not already speak, read or write any of the indigenous Liberian languages that we work in, there could be an opportunity for you to learn to do same when proper details are worked out. To become a LIBTRALO member, contact the Administrative Assistant, Miss Watchien M. Kelly at LIBTRALO Office in Gibson Hall, United Methodist Compound between 12th and 13th Streets in Sinkor, Monrovia or call cell phone number: +231(0)886-601126.
Teachers
Are you already literate (read and write fluently) in one of the indigenous languages of Liberia? You could share this knowledge with many other Liberians who need it. Please don’t continue to hide your God-given talent. Be one of our teachers. For details, contact Mr. Samuel F. Cooper, Literacy Director at LIBTRALO Office in Gibson Hall, United Methodist Compound between 12th and 13th Streets in Sinkor, Monrovia or call Cell phone number: +231(0)886-473008

Volunteers
LIBTRALO needs volunteers and you could be one. Are you a good typist? It may take you two weeks or less to learn to use the Keyman Keyboard to type special language characters for our books. One may volunteer his/her service during materials development for collating, binding or laminating the materials. If you have skills in organizing a reading room or library, you may be of vital help in keeping our books orderly and properly shelved. If you are a curriculum specialist, you are not left behind. Finally, we need voluntary material and financial contribution as well as incessant prayers For more information, contact the Administrative Assistant, Miss Watchien M. Kelly at LIBTRALO Office in Gibson Hall, United Methodist Compound between 12th and 13th Streets in Sinkor, Monrovia or call cell phone number: +231(0)886-601126. Alternatively, you may call cell phone number +231(0)886-798915 to talk to Mr. David K. Setiyee, the Executive Director.
Your involvement today will translate into many positives for the future growth and development particularly of LIBTRALO, but generally of the Republic of Liberia. Be an evangelist of literacy today and be remembered tomorrow as a soul winner! Throw your lot in with us.
